I have had a 14' for over 15 years and love it. Started out with a 6hp, then a15hp, now topped out with a 25hp...It's been all over, ducks, and white bass in KS, cat fish and reds in LA, crabs and black mouth on Hood Canal, trout and bass on the local lakes,  runs rivers, and bass and walleye on Banks Lake. The semi v handles the chop, and runs shallow enough for most rivers. Never had any issues with the original welds, but have had to weld it from stress over loading were it rides on the trailer. The kids grew up it. With the depth and free board I have never had to worry about them pulling crab pots or running trotlines. Hope this helps...

My dad had a 14' and I logged a lot of hours in that thing growing up. Great boats!

Great boats I loved my 14 ft. The only negative
Thing I can say is while back trollibg or hover fishing the bow can catch the current throwing you out of line a bit. But it's nice cutting through chop tho.
