This bill eliminates you right to water your lawn without a permit. If this bill passes, you will need a permit form the Department of Ecology to water your well from an exempt well. This bill is sponsored by Dave Upthegrove from the 33rd Legislative district in south Seattle.
This bill eliminates any ability to water lawns in rural areas without a permit.
If you are a well driller or a pump tech you know what I am going to discuss next. There is a movement within the United Nations to require all private wells world wide to have meters installed on them so someone can make you, the owner of that well, pay for your water usage. This bill being introduced,I believe is heading in that very direction.
