Jigs are hard to beat in March and early April, but once the water temps break into the 50's just about anything will work through April into mid May and up to the spawn. Depends a lot more on the weather swings and how it affects the mood of the fish.

Here is one from today that had to be close to the 5 mark. (Dead battery in the scale)
And a hoggy Crappie for fun. :)

Three 4s and a 5. Ended up 2nd at the tourney with 19.39. 1st place had an 8 lb largemouth in his bag...  :o

Nice haul Kopperbuck! What tourney? 2 place with 19lbs is crazy!!! An 8lb largely though is quite the bag boost!!

I always am suspicious looking at eastern Washington bass background, lot of similarities in landscape through the east!
