Tuna in August

5 vs 6 guys may not sounds like much difference, but I would definitely appreciate the extra room and 8-10 tuna that represents.

I personally know everyone mentioned in the above thread and have for years...they are all fine fishermen...I decided to make charter/guiding my full time job so I am committed to this....Todd with Todds Extreme is a very good friend of mine...

I have a 2011 custom built 30 ft offshore full "fish around" boat...I had her built specifically for tuna, twin 300 hp Mercury Verado, full compliment of Simrad electronics, Flir, 120 gallon live bait tank, epirb, 8 man SOLAS raft, AIS, etc...I take safety and catching tuna very seriously...named the boat "Pacific Addiction"...I assure you I definitely know how to catch tuna....check out my site, ask about me on Bloody Decks or Ifish...I am the "real deal" just new to the charter game.....I had over 100 customs rods built this year if that tells you how serious I am....been crossing the CR bar for well over 10 years easy....get 5 person together and book the boat for the day is my suggestion...I also do salmon, halibut, bottom fish, sturgeon and steelhead!

I have personally fished with Mark Youngblood a few times. Never for tuna, at least not yet! He takes fishing seriously and he is easy to get along with. I wouldn't hesitate to book a trip with him for tuna.

While I haven't fished with Mark,  I have some friends that do regularly.  I can vouch that he'll put you on more tuna than you know what to do with.
Out of Westport for 6 packs, talk to Patrick at Tailwalker, Kerry at Offshore Northwest, Darrel at Far corners or Mark at ARSC.  All of these guys run great 6 pack boats, provide top quality gear and will work hard to put you on tuna.

The big question is going to be if they let us have anchovies this year. They closed sardine fishing again this year and there is a lot of talk about anchovies.
