Float tube fins question
«
on:
April 30, 2016, 12:15:50 PM »
Are fins enough to propel a float tube around a small lake?
Never used my float tube before and I don't see any place on it for oars to attach.
I found some fins that go over waders online but I don't know if that's going to be enough to do the job...
Any input?

Fins are all you need. That's what float tubes are built for. I've kicked around some pretty large lakes in mine. You'll be surprised how easily you get around with fins.

Yes, float tubes work with fins. Even if you could attach oars, the resistance of a tube won't let it move very fast.

Find your self a set of force fins. I don't know if they even make them anymore, but they are shorter and wider than normal fins. I see them on Craigslist every once and awhile.
