Garcia 6500 repairs needed?

Have a couple Garica 6500's that need repair, anyone out there do reel repair, or is it just as economical to buy new?

What's going on with it? I've had some success disassembling for a good cleaning followed by a good oiling. I had one I thought was shot, it ended up,working fine after

Drag will not work... thinking I left them set for  to long and warped some springs....?

I think there's a metal disc kind of like a domed washer. I've heard of people having the issue you describe. When I cleaned mine up the drag was really tight and inconsistent. I think it's a pretty fixable issue. Maybe try and find a YouTube video, they're pretty common reels so you may have some luck
