They were shot maybe 500 yrds as the crow flies and shot about 30 minutes apart first time we've both tagged out on the same day and pretty close to the same time and we've been hunting together a long time 
His buck ( in the blue cart ) is very close looking to the buck I shot last year almost identical crab claws in the front and they were probably only a 100 yard difference

Those are 2 studs ..That one thing nice about gates ..the deer have a chance to mature . It stinks to walk or hike or ride a bike that far but its obvious what you can gain from hard work ..  I can not wait for this fall after what I seen last last fall ..just to bad a couple got away but hopefully they are bigger this year ...
