Cannot hunt kapowsin even with the incentive tag, you can hunt mashel, but not anything that lies in the kapowsin boundaries. I'd say white river you'll have to put time into which is good if your ok hiking deep, maybe check out south rainier etc. Down there.

Hancock allowed them to hunt and harvest because it wasn't during the general elk seasons. I would say it would be worth asking Hancock to make sure since there are still permits available.If they by chance said yes it is a no brainer where to go.
As said before.... Lewis River, South Rainier for a Cascade Roosie or Quinalt or Clearwater for a real Roosie.
What is with all the Naselle suggestions?There are not any elk there, it is too thick, too steep, and no place to camp...At least that was the response I got when I asked about area...
