clear lake- yakima county

Has anyone been fishing Clear Lake lately (from the bank)?  Going to be up in the area in a couple weeks with the family and plan on taking the kids on their 1st fishing trip.

20,000 fish plus have been planted-pretty hard not to catch some.  Great place to take kids fishing.

I go up there all the time. Bring worms. They aren't biting power bate very much recently. They plant larger triploid trout that can be up to 20 inches. Check this one out. Its a few years old. The small one was the length of my tackle box which is 12 inches.

Also, throw a black rooster tail from the bank in the evening.. It's very productive. If you can get a black rooster with red tinsel that's even better. Good luck
