I got wind of this last year.  But it is larger than just Washington. It ranges all the way in to Canada as The River Nations territory.

Thanks for the post. I might be way out in Left field on this but the tribes really want fish passage over Grand Coollie Dam and will pull every string they can to get it.

There should be fish passage over Grand Coolie. There was at one time salmon and steelhead that ran all the way to Canada, they also ran up the Spokane River to Lake Coeur d'Alane. When the dam was put in it killed the run :bash: :bash:.

Im trying to find an article that talks about the Columbia, Kootney Snake watershed being subject to international jurisdiction due to the cross border issues it faces. Ill try and find it later.

Screw the tribes nothing pisses me off more than to think about America is celebrating its independence but we still has oppressive rulers in Washington. It's a joke where's everyone buying their fireworks today better pay the Indians some more money.

Never heard of any fish getting over Spokane falls..There are no records of any salmon or steelhead getting over it..plus post falls had its on set of falls that Im pretty sure nothing could get over either
