New SW Early muzzy units
« on: June 28, 2016, 10:23:30 PM »
Just wondering how crowded some of the new SW early Elk Muzzy units were last year. Now that it expanded beyond basically only Ryderwood not sure if it will be a zoo everywhere down there for early muzzy rather than just a zoo in Ryderwood like it was in years past.

I'm happy with PM's if anyone wants to give me an idea of how the crowds were last year

I hunted 506 and 673 last year.  There were other hunters, but definitely was not crowded where I was hunting.

There were more hunters in 673 than I have seen for years, but few got out of their trucks as I ran into nobody actually in the woods.
The rain later in the week really sent them home, or headed for the bars.

We hunted 506 and 530, both had a lot of hunters.  Even though we know the area well, doing some scouting in other GMU's to start getting the lay of the lands.
