If I slum lodge pole, I try to hide the rounds under tamarack or fir...and I don't post it on the internet  :chuckle:
hey I'm trying to be like Obama and completely transparent with all that I do :dunno:
And if you get caught, just be like Hillary, don't admit to anything and you should be home free :chuckle:

BEST of Luck!

Haha!  I live to perform under pressure :chuckle:

Honestly though, the only pressure I feel for this hunt is the pressure I put on myself.   It's that way with all my hunts though.  Just part of the hunt.  I've got the elk whisperer himself for my tour guide, so all I have to do is sit back and sift through all the bulls right!?!! :IBCOOL:

Heck, I'm sure he'd tie up a goat just to provide entertainment in between bull selection.  :chuckle:

LOTS of archery went down tonight!  Getting all set for the NW mountain challenge this weekend.  Tuned up my buddies prodigy and fletched him up some freedom arrows.  Sweet shooting bow!  ONLY downside to shooting Aaron's Hoyt is it leaves me with some nasty new bow withdrawal  :bash:  so any chance I have to play with a new one I jump on it :IBCOOL:

Set up ANOTHER dozen shafts of freedom arrows for myself.

Thank you and your bro. so much for everthing!!!  What tag u get? You probably already know this  but practice range finding to produce as little body movement as possible when ranging your bull, as little sound as possible when ranging your bull and with the most effective target acquisition as possible when ranging your bull. As u know proficient range finding an animal can be one of the most important factors in sealing the deal yet it gets overlooked often. The  processes that go down during those final few seconds b4 the shot can be considered one of the most vulnerable times for the hunter to get busted by them dam cows! that the hunter overlooked because he might have been too focosed on that huge! bull that was about to be shot...lol. The cow sees you amd all hell breaks out with elk running all over the place. That's my advice to you. When u got your bull infront of you and u got to put your range finder up to your eye, then quietly let go of your range finder, possibly knock an arrow and draw back your bow ect. try to do all these movements without getting busted sometimes it's hard to do therefore it might be a good idea to practice. Try to do all that when their heads are down eating...lol. I I wonder if elk can't hear as well when they're chewing???...lol...Thats my stupid and obvious advice to you good luck and have fun! Im looking 4word to seeing pics.thanks again
