I'm with you on this. Sunshine makes me want to get out. I'm not sure what's open or where to go. I just moved to Kent, so I'll be looking.

Well, lake wash is open I think.

Why dont you get a map, see the lakes inside your distance barrier, then look each one up online or on the paper version of the fishing regs booklet? Dont ever trust people for that info. So much changes all the time with regs.
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me to.

took the boat out yesterday for a run and make sure it's all good before the tourneys start and had a guy lift up i nice stringer of nice trout out of lake stevens.
there were several boats out and the ones i talked to all had a couple.
a little ways from Renton but the trout seem to be biting at least.
good luck

So, pulled the maps and the reg book out, but it just caused more confusion. Two closest lakes are nowhere to be found in the regs (Lake Youngs and Lake Meridian) so I don't know what's allowed and what's not.

I don't have a boat, so anywhere I go would need to be shore/dock. Any suggestions there?

Pass Lake if you have a float tube or pontoon

Samammish is open and the docks are finally above water (just barely though) as of Sunday at the State Park Launch.  Washington and Samammish are difficult to find perch this time of year as they are deeeeeeeep.  I know there is a pretty good population of cutts on Samammish but I have never fished them.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

I have fished Lake Meridian a few times off the docks. Caught a few small ones.
