Reloaded cartridges
« on: July 20, 2016, 09:52:32 PM »
Any advice on what to do with reloaded cartridges? I have over 1400 rounds of various calibers that came to me from my father-in-laws estate.
Thanks for any suggestions

It depends on if you got the guns and reloading information with them. If you just got random ammo it might be useful to someone for brass and maybe bullets.  If you got the guns and load information I would shoot it.

it would depend on how much confidence you have in the reloads.   I'm a bit leery of shooting other people's reloads.   I guess I've heard one too many horror stories and I'm older.

You could pull them for components, or you could shoot them if you have confidence in them.

What caliber of rounds do you have? That might help if you are planning on trying to get rid of them....

Post them for sale on a real world firearms forum.

:yeah:There's a lot of potential money there!

It's probably worth pulling the bullets and selling the brass, or sell the entire lot. I wouldn't break it up though. It would be more trouble than it's worth to sell it by cartridge.

A few of those might get a bit of interest over on the Lever Guns forums.  Like the .348 Win and the .25-35 Win.
