Hi everyone! I know, its been a while since ive posted anywhere on the site but I got invited to go on a guided spring black bear hunt up in Canada and I went in May this year. I had the best time ever. (Besides hunting with my dad here in Washington). My uncle invited me to go with him and we had a friend from Arizona, he drove over here then rode up with us. I shot my black boar with my Ruger 308 (compact). You will get to read all about my bear hunt when it gets published. Ill try to post it here in the new topic area.
My guide was Steve Saunders. Owner of Sentinal Mountain Safaris out of Canada and he felt like a second father to me. He really treated all of us well and he is just a really good, all around guy. Amazing. I cant wait to go back up and go spend time at the hunting cabin. Just beautiful. And the food that Jeanne and Gudrun prepared every evening was amazing. Perfect ending to a perfect day.
