University of Washington Fish and Game Club

I'm a current student at the UW, and I'm looking for other UW students who are interested in starting a fish and game club to promote the sport of fishing and hunting throughout the UW community. I've talked with a lot of students who come from non-hunting/fishing backgrounds, yet express an amazing amount of excitement (international students seem especially excited) at the first mention of either sport; they just need someone to get them started and pointed in the right direction. The club will also provide a medium for us who are already active outdoorsmen/women to connect with each other, share experiences, and possibly form new, lasting relations.

I believe we only need four, maybe seven, students and a faculty advisor to become an official club recognized by the ASUW. I'm hoping the forum can help me locate some students. PM me if you're interested.

Thanks,
Travis

Good luck in the hunt and fish club.  There are a lot of people in UW who voted for NObama.  I guess the education in knocking their common sense right out.
Progressives are coming for your guns.
What are you going to do?

Well me, I do not have any guns, gave away or sold them 15 years ago.

Well I go to UW and I would be all for the club if I wasn't 1 quarter away from graduating...   :chuckle:   Good idea though!
