I'm heading to lake Chelan for the week this Sunday with the family..  I'm taking the boat to tube/ski but debating on whether to pack the downriggers..  I've done the lake trout before, but this setup is not good for that deep.  Any koks in there biting in August worth going after??  Other suggestions?

I just got back from Chelan, went 5 for 6 on Kokanee with home made spinners, all but one were caught at 75 feet, 25 mile creek area.

right on...  Same as most lakes; troll slow and slow down from there!??  Smile blade and hoochie or modified wedding ring set ups?  Not looking for your secret, just a ball park..

small pink hootchies with pink beads on one and green on the other, the green out fished the pink, I thought it might go the other way.

Don't be afraid to run a small pink cut plug stupid bait. I'd stop at hooked on toys they will tell you the program.

We went to Alta lake to visit a family friend on the second day..  I hadn't been there in a few years and to my surprise and I lucked into Kokes.  Apparently it's been stocked staring in 2013.  We got a late start and fished from around 12pm to 2pm and killed them...  Didn't bother with Chelan, sport boat traffic was heavy until well after 7pm..  I'd recommend Alta to anyone who is in he area.  It's a cool little lake and even better now with Koks in there

a couple over 14, but the rest were 10-12..  It will be interesting to see how it goes there with them..  The hole in the lake is 85' but not very big.  It get's shallow quick.
