Looking for a good bass fishing lake in whatcom or skagit county. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated

Terrell, Wiser, Fazon, Silver, Tennant, Whatcom, Samish, Big, Clear, Beaver, Grandy, McMurray, Cain, Sixteen, Campbell, Erie.....

Depending on exactly what you are looking to fish I could narrow it down a bit more.  Grassy? clear? shallow? deep? numbers? size? smallmouth? largemouth? both?

No lack of good bass fishing in either county honestly
