They're never "just a dog" bud. Sorry he never turned up. The new one sure is a good looking pup.

Multiple sightings of a dog about 15 miles from our place.  Seen in the same area over a 10 day period.  Three calls in a week from different folks.

I've been down there, calling for him, knocking on doors, putting out jackets for scent, posting signs, and walking the other dogs.  Nothing yet. Really crazy to think he could still be out there  :dunno:

Nope, nothing new. Most nights driving home, I find myself glancing out and imagining him out there somewhere. Closure would be nice but it's a luxury that we don't always get. Did he freeze to death? Is he living in someone's home near or far? Did coyotes get him? Guess I will find out one day. Hoot is an uncle though, his brother Waylon sired some cute little pups 4 weeks ago today. Thanks for your thoughts
