Shooting in Tri-cities
« on: August 30, 2016, 08:45:45 PM »
I've lived in the Tri-cities for roughly threes years now. Still feel fairly new here.

Question: Where does everybody go to shoot their guns around here. I'm from Oregon originally and we would find a rock pit out in the woods somewhere and shoot. My wife has taken an interest in shooting w me so I want to get her out there! I know there are a couple gun clubs in the area but we have kids and I wasn't sure what there policy would be with children.

We shoot our bows in our back yard. I bird hunt a fair amount so I shoot my shotguns all fall and winter but haven't shot clays in a couple years. I started archery hunting 5 years ago and haven't shot my rifle since. It's time to get back into it.

Go Beavers?  Oh man...in Cougar country, no less.   :o

https://www.tcsa.info  This is an excellent facility.  It is a bit of a drive, about 10 minutes north of Benton City.  But it is a really nice place to shoot.  Bring your long guns, there is a steel plate 450 yards out (maybe further).  Good luck.

The wind can blow sometimes, just saying.

TCSA is a top notch facility as stated above.  Well worth being a member there.

yeah I would check out TCSA, I am an ro out there, I think its a pretty top notch place. lots of things going on every month with various shooting discipline's.

kids are no problem at all as long as they are supervised by the parent, I like to see them out there

there is a 22 plinking range with reactive targets, and a pistol range with the same style targets, 100 yd range and gongs from 200-450 yds, a REALLY nice trap and skeet range, 1000yd range, pistol bays... quite a bit.
