Seems like alot of attention is given to boots while footbeds & socks get overlooked. Anyway, for you guys with undiagnosed OCD like me, here was my problem until a few days ago:
Bought a pair of Crispi Nevadas last month. Love the boots! Since I wear a Darn Tough hunter sock (only padded on bottom & back) I need a footbed with a higher volume. I also have a lower arch in my right foot from bad beds in a few boots back. I tried alot of beds this past 40 days. Lathrop & Sons synergy, green and orange supper feet, sof sole, meindl, dr scholls & a few others.
After speaking with a few podiatrist and custom boot fitters I decided to call Superfeet up in Ferndale Washington. I told them what I needed what I like and dislike and they suggested the flex Max. Finally found a boot/bed/sock combo I like!
Superfeet is local so only took 1 day to get the insoles.
