Hey guys,

Well I've made a couple of posts here but haven't put a ton of effort in yet. I'm wanting to get serious about this year's Deer/Elk modern rifle hunting time windows! Just took off work the whole week monday oct 24-28 to tag my deer and start scouting for the November elk window after. I'd really love to have someone to start scouting with here in the Snohomish/King county area. I'm a pretty normal guy, but I moved here from the East Coast and just don't have any friends or family in the area. Live in Bothell but willing to drive because there's no good hunting around here anyway. In addition to being new to the area, I'm also a pretty new hunter, so I'd really appreciate any guidance or advice from either seasoned hunters or people who just know the area well. So yeah, let me know if you'd like to go walk around in the woods and try to find some good signs!

Hey there! Sorry for the late reply. No actually, I haven't  :( lol. I went out scouting the past couple of weekends and while I saw some deer eating greens along rt 2, I didnt see much of anything on the random trails I decided to check out. Went up around the blanca lake area... To be honest I am such a novice hunter and am pretty unfamiliar with the terrain, Don't know how much luck I'll be having this season. I will definitely be giving it a go, though! Are you interested in going hunting this week or later in the month?

Well after living and renting in Bothell for 3 years I've finally saved up enough for a small place up in Lynnwood... so I guess I'm here in WA to stay! Still haven't really met anyone to go hunting with... looking forward to getting a bow and practicing archery in my backyard... And hopefully grilling up some venison steaks... Any Lynnwood locals?
