Buckmarks 2016 Deer hunting adventure
« on: September 16, 2016, 02:23:10 PM »
Leaving tonight for archery deer camp 2016
This year is kinda special as i am going to propose to my girl tomorrow, she is the best and i can't believe we found each other, so after 18yrs divorced i am going to get hitched again (if she says yes)  :dunno:

So between my deer tag, bear tag and engagement ring i have 3 tags to fill, lets hope i atleast fill 2  :chuckle:

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

No phone or internet service at my deer camp.  We are only going till sunday then bringing her back for work, then i am heading back for a week if needed. She will have some alone time to get planing  It out. She is the best and wont see this coming but loves our time at the property so it will be a great surpise. I can truley saw i would never get married again but i found that 1 in a million person that makes my life so complete and she means the world to me. Now i have taged out every year for 31 years  and this better not be a jinx  :)
