I seen a stud of a WT buck on my scouting trip last weekend. If I don't end up hunting there I would reveal his coordinates if anyone is interested. Would require in IEP permit.
We've hunted unit 124 the past 7 years. We're on agriculture land and generally only see basket bucks. have only seen 1 truly nice buck in our area over the years. Lots of deer, but the older bucks are either real smart or get harvested before they get big.
Since I began hunting 124 I have yet to eat tag soup. I see some pretty good deer (in my opinion anyways) killed out there every year. I have some friends who own property in the area and they kill 130+ inch deer every year. My best deer from 124 is the one in my Avatar pic.
I scouted 117 today since I moved over this way and saw no deer sign. I've hunted it on the late hunt a lot and have been successful. Had a pack of 7 wolves walking the skid trail right off the bat this morning...

But that's why I pack a pistol everywhere I go up there!
There are big bucks in 124. My biggest whitetail was harvested in that unit. Scored 148.

It's only been the last 8-10 years that they have been around.
Yes dead serious 3 jet black and 4 grey and white... One of them barked and howled for a good hour once i got away from them to a higher vantage point and not in front of me on the skid road....but yeah lots of fresh moose sign, but I never cut a single deer track..

That's a great buck tgomez
My cousin Jeremy's 157" biggest buck out of 124. Not bad for "any buck" unit. They are around, good scouting pays off.
I missed that g4 in dmoua's pic. I thought it was a 5x4 and I must need glasses because its clearly there an not even small. Still a stud!
Great buck! He was only a g4 away from being solidly in the 150's.
