2nd deer permits

Do I have to buy the second transport tag? Let's say I don't shoot a deer during modern season. Can I put my original tag on during my second deer permit hunt? Both modern.

Your general season tag is only valid for the general season.

OFF PAGE 28 SECOND DEER HUNTS

Notes: You must purchase a second deer tag to participate in this
hunt and only the second tag can be used in the second deer
permit hunt. The second tag must be the same weapon choice
as your first tag. The price of a second deer tag has decreased,
please see page 4 for pricing information.
