Lilly lake area and Stephens pond will get you on some. The local Elk constantly move around that area. I have drawn 4 antlerless and 1 any Elk permit since they started the permits in that area around 1991 or so. Never took me more than three days to hang a tag. Mine were all modern tags, but I have never shot a Elk over 40 yards in the timber. All with a .375 H&H 😊👍
