Using the sausage tubes on the grinder is only good for getting grind into the plastic burger/sausage freezer bags. :twocents:

Until I bought a stuffer, I used my grinder tubes for many years to make snack sticks, bratwursts, link sausages, etc.  It took a little more effort, but I got it done, and no one had any complaints.  I will say, a stuffer is worth every penny though!

A stuffer must work like magic, because the stuffer on the cabelas grinder is super easy to use and the burger turned out great.  Not sure how you can ruin hamburger in the first place.
Kinda agree. Burger into a  bag ........how precise does that need to be?? Burger in a bag go from the grinder.l
If stuffing casings get a stuffer!!
