Much better.

The wife and  I did our third Sunday in  a row of pulling plugs and it went better at McNary then Ice Harbor. I got broke off at the pumps pulling an orange wiggle wart.  I felt like an amateur as i had my drag set too tight....all those 4-6 pounders from last year got me conditioned for smaller fish I guess.

Then I hooked a really nice one by the dam on an orange hot n tot. Fought the thing for what seemed like forever and at the net it measured and estimated 34 inches. As they say on TV, a pretty fish....but wild, sigh  :( Happy travels friend  :)

My dang wife, God bless her for going with me but she insists on using the "pretty" but unproven plugs. I love her and am just happy for the companionship but she hasnt gotten anything in our three trips out using her funky lures. Oh well, the problem is she has actually done well enough going rouge in her plug choice in the past that i have to respect her decisions...it just hasnt worked out this year.

How'd you all do this weekend?
