"Very remote location" accessible by 4 wheeler.
I don't understand the desire to drag out elk whole. Seems like way more trouble and potential trouble then quartering it.

I remember a hunter from Thermopolis, WY was dragging a 3-point when he fell on it, impaled his femoral artery and bled out. Sad stuff.

Couple years ago, we were dragging out a 3 OT buck, and I stumble and fell on top of it. Landed on one of the tines right below my eye socket. Damn lucky I was about an inch from my eyeball
