444 Marlin brass
« on: November 08, 2016, 01:30:04 PM »
Just got an email from Starline

We’re pleased to announce to our loyal customers and friends that we are now manufacturing brass for the .444 Marlin. The .444 Marlin is seeing new life due to changing game laws. Many states that have limited hunting to slug guns and muzzleloaders now allow straight wall cartridges in firearms for deer hunting.
.444 Marlin (Large Rifle Primer) 2.210”-2.215”

IIRC, 444 can be used to make up 356 Winchester cases

444 can also be used to make 460 S&W (although you can just buy 460 brass anyway).

More important than anything, it can be used to make JDJ wildcats!
