Now is a great time of the year to get started on improving the landscape around your home. There are several species of tree which are hard to eradicate from your property entirely even by cutting the tree down as low as you can ( maple, willow and elderberry just to name a few). Grinding the stump away is usually one of the only ways to keep the left over tree from growing tall bushy sprouts every year. Call today and I can schedule a free estimate on solving your problem. Also, with a good description as well as a few quality pictures, I can usually give a fairly accurate and IMMEDIATE bid just through texts on a smartphone.

What's a ballpark on those couple of stumps you showed?

Those first two stumps were huge alders and I bid them at $300 each. They were each around 40 inch diameter when they were cut down low enough to start grinding. On large stumps that are 30" plus, I try to bid them at $6 per inch in diameter plus fuel costs to wherever a job is.
For smaller stumps like the other pictures, I bid them around $3-$4 per inch or just a good guess on time it takes to grind them based on $100 per hour. Those small stumps were around 20-30 minutes each to grind. Also have to factor in whether it's a hardwood or not.
