Got the lens back, but kinda hard to handle one handed.  It was interesting to say the least manuevering through the woods to get close to the bulls, without getting the hand wet, or the lens dropped.

the hardest was in the bush.  I needed manual focus and that was nearly impossible one handed.

Good to see you back at it.  I dropped and broke my 80-400 last winter, had serious withdrawals until it was repaired.  So I know how you've been feeling.  Enjoy being out, and heal up soon.

Then up the ridge i had this guy in front of me and i didn't have a clear lane.  another bull stepped out right behind him and he took a dive at him.  i was firing bu i didn't have much of a fov.

crud, too busy, no good focus.... the other bull ran through then  got some from behind shots on this guy but he stopped before disappearing on me
