No info on Alaska but if want the northern most islands in Canada then Westcoast Resorts will be there. I have stayed at their Hippa Lodge in the Queen Charlotte Islands. Usually good salmon and halibut fishing.

We go to Calder Mountain Lodge every other year.   Takes us that long to eat all the silvers and halibut we catch.

check these guys out  http://www.glacierbearlodge.com/  have not been personly but my brother in law has. seemed pretty resonable
