Bergara B-14 Hunter 6.5
« on: January 29, 2017, 03:26:52 PM »
Creedmoor.

Damn it. I think I just found The 6.5 CM I want.  Smooth action, soft touch stock.  Feels functions like one hell of a rifle.

Thoughts?

I'd like the B-14 HMR, but they don't make it left handed.

I just ordered this very rifle.  The CM is a popular chambering and I have a 5-6 week wait until it arrives.  None were available on GunBroker and no local retailers had one in stock.  Looking forward to getting it and hoping it's a shooter!

I have handled these a couple times at cabelas and it seems like a heck of a rifle for the price.  All R.E.M. 700 aftermarket works on them and seems way better quality and the trigger seemed real nice.

The rifle is now in my hands, pretty excited to hit the range with it soon.  I bought 1 box of Federal Fusion 140 grain for it to use for break in ammo.  It took me 19 patches to get it cleaned from its factory test firings.  Will follow Bergara break in procedure and see how it goes.  I put a EGW 20 MOA rail, vortex tactical 30mm rings and topped it with a VX-3 Long Range in 4.5-14x50.

I have all the reloading components except for H-4350 which I have about 1/2 lb of is all.  Might just start with IMR-4350 since the H-4350 seems like it will be in tight supply for a while.
