Well, I've moved to Selah! (Almost! Well, Mostly! - still have family and property in Sequim, still have property in PendOrielle but decided not to move there - Yeesh, I have so much to do! But...) I got my new wood/metal shop wired and working and mostly set up. Thought I'd christen it with a few closed reed distress calls made from Washington wood and put them up for sale here on Hunt-Wa first, to see if any WA guys wanted them!
Both do nice gentle fawn bleats, and loud panicky raspy screams.
The Maple is from the Olympic Peninsula, Decent figure with a birdseye or two. Nice solid piece with a real rich tone in the sound. $35 mailed to you.
The Black Walnut is from Dayton, in the Blues. Real nice figured burl. Not very common for this wood! Good woody tone to the sound. $35 mailed to you.
Both have distinct turns and burn lines.
