Not Karavan but I have on a Shorelandr and a EZ Loader.  Its just a carpeted 2x6 and a couple of bolts.  Overtons sells already carpeted replacements cheap and sent UPS.

Yes.

I replaced my bunks in the parking lot of a Columbia River boat launch one year, it was that easy.

The fasteners for attaching the bunks to the bracket on the trailer look like 3/4 inch hex head bolts not screws and they fasten directly to the 2x6. So It's just a matter of drilling pilot holes in the 2x6s through the carpet?

Thanks,

Al
