End of the year coyote fur shot
« on: February 26, 2017, 05:18:46 PM »
Had a great year coyote hunting with several buddies! Put a lot of fur up, ready for a break. Here's to hoping for high fur prices!

Nice going!

Apparently, heavies did real well in the last auction, but semi-heavies did not!  Semi-heavies brought a third to half of  heavies.

Hope you have a lot of heavies...

Thank you all! Well, I feel like 1 out of 3 where what I would consider heavy pale dogs, the rest will most likely go semi. I guess we will see

220 swift or 22-250. I'm going back to a .204 next season. Did a lot of stitching this year  :bash:.

Nice ! I have a T/C with a .204 ruger barrel its dam accurate but I would like to be able to have a quick follow up shot. So I'm thinking of a Tikka in a good caliber

I had a .204 ruger predator and it is the only gun I have ever regretted trading off. I will buy another one shortly! In my opinion it's the best fur centerfire rifle there is.

Looks like they are put up beautifully.  I love the .204.  My buddy has killed hundred with his .20 TAC, so if you reload I would lean that direction.  It is a little more efficient and slightly better ballistics, with the same outcome on fur.
Dreams are forever on the mind, realization in the hands.
