I completely hate the wrist style releases. I shot my old Martin Lynx Magnum for years with fingers. With my newer bow Mathews Legacy I use the Scotts Peanut release. I can put it in my pocket on a lanyard. Key word LANYARD. It is easy to loose. Any how my two cents from Lyle WA.

I shot with a finger tab for 20+ years. Most of my deer hunting was from tree stands. When I moved out here from MN, I switched to a release and added about 10 yards to my effective range. I did miss one opportunity to kill a deer when I was fumbling around trying to get my release on the loop and watch the deer at the same time. Shooting with a release usually will give you crisper releases and you will be more accurate.
