Sinlahekin trip
« on: February 23, 2009, 04:03:27 PM »
As some of you know, I put a scope on my AR (upper has non removalable handle) just before I headed over to the Sinlahekin to visit a buddy/hike/hunt this weekend. After numerous shots, I gave up trying to sight it in, (too loose..need to work on it) so I went with open sights.  Guess I will just buy a new gun to put the scope on.... :chuckle: :chuckle:

Got permission to check out this dead horse under the tree in the video (but not allowed to shoot), was able to call in 3 yotes into sight...along with several more all around us, so that was fun. The three yotes came in and then some others started yippin to the right, and then to our left, and then on the hill behind the yotes which really got their attention...it was great to hear/see as it was my buddies first intro to predator calling.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="
hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="
hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Saw about 100+ whitetails, some EDITED... :sas: Sheep all sorts of birds, etc...but just wasnt able to get any yotes/bobs when I was able to shoot... :bash: :chuckle: Oh well..it was a great visit.

The video (if the sound wasnt *censored*e) had yotes singing all over it...but there is too much distortion...pics arent the best, but you get the idea.
