i think these regulations saying we cant pick up skulls with antlers needs to be changed.

i would give anything to stumble up on something like that. and it would be very hard for me not to take it.

back when i was younger i found a 2x5 blacktail skull and antler. the 5point side had 2 10" drop tines. it was heartbreaking to leave it behind. i left it on a stump and another truck with 2 guys took it.

i should have just took it.  :bash:

They passed that law in Montana about 15 years ago. It lasted about 8 months and they repealed it, thank god.

It has a good purpose but stinks.  I'd e-mail them with a pic.  Its probably not going to be labelled as "poached"  so they may let you have it.  I had a friend get an OK for a Ram skull last year.  Surprised the heck out of me.
