Benchlegs, interesting hunt. Not really sure what roads you take to access it.

The area is formally private land that had no public access.

Used to be open for everyone...timber company bought it and closed it down for some time...was open for everyone to hunt last year...this year turned into permit only

Checked it out for you, lots of benchleg button bucks running around all the bigger bucks were across the street in the private land

My dad drew the new quality deer Simcoe rifle tag this year. Any tips for him?

I contacted and spoke to the biologist for that area before I applied. Should be a great hunt it's walk-in only lot of deer in the area.

Should be a great hunt in a couple more years of limited hunting.
