Alas, unfortunately it was.  I cannot lie.  Tried to hide the text on the photo to make it appear to be taken by a normal camera, not one of these evil trail devices. :chuckle:

Actually just enlarged it so one could see the antler growth a little better.  I think this guy is going to be a dandy.

Decent growth. I wouldn't say above average from what I've seen so far, but decent none the less. Be cool to see him progress.

Average from what I have seen out there.

Average. I saw some whitetail bucks Memorial Day weekend that had main beams grown out and all points starting. I saw one 5x5 that was going to hopefully be a bruiser. Already had a few inches of growth on his 2's and 3's.

I think any deer that isn't showing ribs and doesn't have a starvation appearance right now all look great to me  :)

Be nice to get a better photo of him.  I blew it up as much as possible in an effort to see what was going on up top.  Initial thoughts are there is more there than the photo shows, but who knows.  May just be wishful thinking on my part.  Hopefully I'll get some additional pictures.

After looking at the original picture again I noticed a couple additional deer that he is trailing.  It may be the same group of bucks and he is just the larger one that I got in this picture of the group 2 1/2 weeks earlier on May 20th.  See picture below.
