I have been on the lower Skagit (Mount Vernon) with a prop but did not go very far. Is this a anchor and plug, or Plunk from the bank fishery?

Line your coonie up on the shank of your hook tail first and use bait wrap to secure it so it is straight and doesn't spin.
Getting ready to get serious, but haven't heard any reports yet. It will either be Skagit or the bubble this weekend, probably depending on how early I want to get up.

I was all set to go last weekend and noticed it was on the only day it was closed, probably for the tribe to net. So, a week later it should be back up to speed.I'll be there at daylight, to pull my two within 40 minutes, then back on the trailer and up to the Skagit where I will rinse the salt off the boat and jerk a limit of sockeye. That's the plan anyway.
