First off I want to say I am far from rich and my girlfriend would say I am a tightwad. Lol
The look on her face was priceless when I told  her I laid down $3400 on 200 raffle tickets. (I still cant believe it myself.) Anyways as you can imagine the anxiety waiting for the draw was intense. So this morning at work I logged in to this great site like I do everyday at breal and saw his thread and rushed over to the WDFW to check my numbers and BAM it hit me I just won the Northeast big game raffle. Still cant believe it.
Congrats man!! Can't wait to see how your fall plays out.

So I was wrong about the guy who killed bullwinkle drawing the same tag, it was just speculation from Facebook.  Sorry, I shouldn't have said anything.

Wow, who got the moose tag with only 10 total tickets purchased? The other moose tag went to someone who bought 1,817 tickets.

Only 100 tickets purchased for the mountain goat tag. $1,150 for a goat tag is a pretty fair price.

The goat tickets are 6.00 so if they got 100 it would mean he/she got it for 600.00 even better price :IBCOOL:

Congrats stickman that's still lucky with about 18% chance with that many in the hat.

Okay, well I didn't realize the price for goat tickets was different than sheep. I now see that moose and goat tickets are $6.00 and sheep is $11.50. Why is that? That makes no sense. Moose, sheep, and goat should all be the same. If anything, the mountain goat raffle tickets should be $11.50 and the sheep tickets only $6.00, because in the regular draw goat is much more difficult to draw.

But yeah, it would have only been $600 for the person who drew the mountain goat raffle tag.

Right on Stickman!  Please start a thread so we can share vicariously, and hope the mods will hit any trolls ASAP with the ban hammer.  The special permit sagas are my favorite reads every year.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Stickman- which three species are you planning to hunt? Moose, is the obvious one. But what about the other two? Bear, whitetail deer, elk?
