Is there any commercial netting allowed in Baker Lake like they do in Lk. Washington?

Not that I am aware of. Fish are trucked in from the dam. But I have been know to be wrong in the past.  :chuckle:

The tribe does their damage before the fish make it to the dam

They could just pick their half out of the truck.

Then they don't get the by-catch

I thought they gave the tribe their fish directly from the truck?

Tribes will net the Baker River, not the lake.

Hey fowlr, what kind of phone do you have?  I need to switch mine and have noticed your pics are always limits.  Mine must be broken.

I usually fish at 35' or deeper always.  I troll from .7 to 1 mph typically.  I don't troll in a straight line.
I make my own gear for trolling, so it isn't something that you see from Mac's or others.  It works good, so I have been tight lipped on it.  Otherwise it may be hanging on shelves in short order.

Heading up to Baker tomorrow. Any recent reports and locations? I.E. are they still catching 'em near the dam or have they started catching 'em mid lake?

It's been a hit or a miss, doesn't seem like they are liking the normal gear.
