I have a Hunting Washington hat but I left it at my mother-in-laws just a few hours before I went hunting!
I was glad I had this hat though because of the knuckleheads out there. I was out earlier duck hunting and when the pheasant hunters started coming in I put my hat and my blaze orange vest on and some bozo took at shot at a bird that was flying AT ME! I saw the bird flush and the guy started to raise his gun and I hit the dirt and he shot!
The dumb ass didn't even get the bird! I yelled at him and he just looked and said "Oh, didn't see you."
It was a clear path with NOTHING in the way and I was only 45-50 yards away from him and he was FACING me!
I decided to pack it in before I went to jail for shooting his ass. I went back in the evening because I wanted to see what the duck hunting would be like and I knew the pheasant hunters would be gone. When I got out there, there were only 4 other pheasant hunters left as I was walking in. Still have not gotten a duck, but I'm not giving up.
