Be careful if you use dry ice if you have the cooler inside of a unventilated vehicle. As it sublimates it is releasing carbon dioxide and if your cooler leaks as pressure builds  it can build up inside you vehicle and can interfere with your breathing. Been there, done that. It also will "burn" the meat if it is in direct contact.
