Webinar on Bobcat population study
« on: October 08, 2017, 01:14:39 PM »
WSTA is cooperating on this study that Dr. Tim Hiller is starting. You can look at his presentation here Not a valid vimeo URLIt is about an hour long.
Here is a link to Dr. Hillers site if you want to take a look http://www.wildlifeecology.org/
So why is it important?
If any of you have followed the goings on in California you will know they closed all trapping of bobcats in that State last year. Of course it was a push from animal rights groups but CA did not have a defensible bobcat management plan and their population estimates were way out of date.
With this study we should have data showing a healthy bobcat population and be able to refute the animal rights people if they try and stop bobcat harvest here.

Cool. I'll have to give it a watch.
People get offended at nothing at all. So, speak your mind and be unapologetic.

Cool I'm part way through
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.
