If im posting in the wrong area mods feel free to move it. That being said, does anyone know why the skookumchuck unit(667) been shut down for muzzleloader until late muzzleloader for both deer and elk....i was going to hunt that unit this year guess ill have to wait..

It's open for early muzzleloader elk. Not deer, but I don't think it ever has been open early for deer.

I'm in Ashford and the Mashel unit is the same for deer...no "early" season.  At least 667 has late for elk!
