If you rattle can one of these plastic kayaks does it stick well or does it chip off easy? Wife got a couple Costco kayaks from a friend for free and I may have to modify one. :chuckle:
Rattle can sticks pretty well. I touch up my boat every season but most of it stays on.

Spent a few days kayak hunting the Columbia. Lots of rain with a little sun break. Great time with my dad.

Nice

Every year driving from elk camp to Twisp I see ducks out there. Always wanted to hunt that.

Got to put it on the list.

I've spray painted plastic barrels with the paint made for plastic, seems to do reasonably well.  It does scratch though so I would probably paint it then make some kind of fabric cover to help reduce scratching.

Let us know what you think of the H12. Price tag is a lot less than the nucanoe. Hard to beat functionality on the nucanoe though. If I hunted a lot from a yak I'd probably go with the Nucanoe.

Well the H 12 arrived today and  I finally got hands on. So far I am real happy with it.
Spent the evening in the shop doing some outfitting on it.
Bow rope, anchor rope, emergency gear in water tight bag, Battery pump, required gear.
Planing on interior lights this weekend. And maybe a maidin voyage if weather clears up a little.

Well it's official.  Got the new H 12 on the water today and got the wife to take it for a spin. She loved it so there will be another on on the way soon.

Which means my hunting buddies scored too. Since they can use it to keep me company when my wife won't go.

Nice

I'm picking up a new 10' aquapod tomorrow, and can't wait to take it out on its maiden voyage in Willapa Bay in a couple weekends.
